District 308 science teachers Shawna Sullivan of Oswego High School and Amy Truemper of Bednarcik Junior High School attended WeatherFest sponsored by WGN/CW and WeatherBug.

The teachers had an amazing day learning more about the programs available for the district through the WeatherBug stations at Bednarcik and Oswego High School.

The day included a tour of the television station and the opportunity meet Dean Richards and Tom Skilling who shared incredible stories about his career and how meteorologists forecast weather.
