The Kendall County Young Republicans provided the following news release:

State Senator Sue Rezin of the 38th Legislative District will be a guest of the Kendall County Young Republicans at their monthly meeting July 12 at 7pm at the Oswego Taphouse Grill (123 Washington Street, Oswego).  Rezin's new district includes the southern six townships in Kendall County, most of Plano and parts of Yorkville and Oswego.

Rezin is in her first term and running for re-election in November.  She was originally elected State Representative in 2010 but was appointed to fill a vacant Senate seat shortly after her election.

Senator Rezin serves as the Minority Spokesperson on the Senate Environment Committee. She also sits on the committee for Agriculture and Conservation, Appropriations II, Commerce, Energy as well as the Committee of the Whole. Senator Rezin was also recently appointed to the Unemployment Insurance Task Force, the Electric Vehicle Advisory Council and the Veterans Advisory Council.
