The following was provided by the village of Oswego.
The Oswego Police Department, in a continuing effort to provide quality service and foster open communication with residents and businesses in the Village, is distributing questionnaires seeking input regarding the quality of police service offered.
1000 questionnaires will soon be mailed to random Village residents, and 200 questionnaires concerning business related issues mailed to random Village businesses. Participation will be anonymous.
The questionnaires will be gathered and later tabulated by a third party who will report results. Over the past decade Oswego Police have conducted these surveys every three years, most recently in March of 2009.
The information obtained from the questionnaires will assist the police department with evaluating the current services offered to the community and gauge public perception. Residents receiving the questionnaires are encouraged to respond. T
he greater the return rate the easier it will be to determine the current and future needs of the community. Whether or not you have had contact with the Oswego Police Department, your comments and opinions are important.

Anyone know if the Kendall County Sheriff's office has ever done anything like this? Or has the county grown so big that the county officials truly do not care what the residents have to say? I truly believe the questionnaires are a good idea regardless if I would receive one or not.
