Adopt Me: Now Lil' Mama Needs a Home

This pit bull mix gave birth to seven puppies on Jan. 30. They've all been adopted, but she's still waiting for a new home.

Lil' Mama is a 1- to 2-year-old pit bull mix available for adoption through Tay's Strays in Yorkville. She has been spayed; all her shots are up-dated, and she is crate-trained. She weighs about 45 pounds.

"She is very playful and goofy," her foster parent, Jayme Slown, said. "She does great with other dogs and would even love to have a doggie playmate in her new home. She knows basic commands and is very treat-motivated to learn new things."

For more information, see her Petfinder page or contact Tay's Stray's at 630-433-8528 or taysstrays@yahoo.com.

A friend of mine adopted one of Lil' Mama's puppies and can vouch first hand on what a sweetheart she is. I hope she finds a forever home soon.
