Aurora Man Sentenced for Cocaine Delivery

Incident occurred in September 2011.

An Aurora man was sentenced for five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after being charged with a cocaine delivery, according to Kendall County State's Attorney Eric Weis.

Cedric Cole, 29, of the 700 block of Grove Street, Aurora, pled guilty to the charge of the unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. He was arrested after delivering cocaine to an undercover narcotics officer in an incident in September 2011, said Weis.

Cole will be required to serve two-years of mandatory supervised release after he serves his five-year prison sentence.

Weis commended the work of the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team for their efforts in taking a dealer of cocaine off the streets of Kendall County.
