The eighth annual Oswego Chamber of Commerce Business and Consumer Expo kicks off at 9 am and runs until 2 pm today at the Oswego High School Field House on Route 71.
Attendees of previous Expos will notice a slight change in accessibility to the field house due to an addition to the High School which is under construction. There will be two entrances this year at doors 13 and 31. Each will be clearly signed and make the field house easily accessible from the parking lots on both sides of the school.
In addition to over 100 exhibits featuring the latest products and services available from area businesses, there will be an art show featuring the works of students from Oswego and Yorkville.
Also, numerous demonstrations and forms of entertainment will be featured throughout the day. Beginning at 10:30 am, representatives from Rondi’s Fitness will demonstrate various exercise techniques.
Jarrett Payton, son of football great Walter Payton, will provide an anti-bullying message at 11:15 and Limelight Theater Productions will perform skits starting at 11:50. World Champion Taekwondo will do demonstrations at 12:30 and dance routines by Dance With Flair begin at 1:15.
Free admission and an opportunity for those over 18 years of age to register for a $500 cash drawing are just two of the many reasons to spend part of your Saturday at the Business and Consumer Expo.
The Chamber’s sincere thanks goes out to our Expo Sponsors Allied First Bank, Earthmover Credit Union, Edward Hospital and Health Services, Ledger-Sentinel/Record Newspapers, Oswego Chiropractic, Oswego Community Bank, Oswego Community Unit School District 308, Rush-Copley Medical Center, Village of Oswego, Waubonsee Community College, Weblinx Inc. and WSPY FM 107.1.
