For Car Repairs, Roberts is the Readers' Choice
It was a close competition all week, but Roberts pulled ahead at the end.
Voting in this week's Readers' Choice poll of best automotive repair shop in Oswego was neck and neck all the way.
Roberts Auto Service would lead for a while, then Brother's Garage would overtake. But in the end, Roberts' outspoken customers put the Stonehill Road shop over the edge.
Here is a sampling of what some of those folks had to say:
Ellie: No job is too small or too large for Robert's Auto Repair. Tim Roberts is loyal, thorough, afford and by far the best auto mechanic! Add to that, the family is very supportive and involved in many activities in Oswego community!
Mark: After moving to Oswego in 2005 with a business fleet and searching long and hard for a Mechanic that was trustworthy to free up my time as a business owner, I was ecstatic when Roberts came to town, I never have to question or wonder if what I'm being told is accurate or necessary or fairly priced, never an up sell after working on all of my business fleet, both my personal cars, both of my daughterts' cars and yes even my Mothers car!
Jill: Roberts Auto has the most reliable and trustworthy business when it comes to auto repairs. Tim has always been there for us and has given us excellent service each and every time. When my son was leaving for the Navy, Tim took the EXTRA time and went over my son's car with a fine tooth comb! I recommend him too everyone we talk to!
Not to be overlooked were a couple reviews from Brother's customers:
Grammy: We love Brother's Garage! Great work at honest prices. No upselling, or unnecessary work recommended! Always helpful, and friendly!
Samantha: Brother's Garage is a great small business that will never let you down. Buzz really knows what he is doing in the garage and also very good at communicating with his customers.

My son's car was recently in an accident, after being repaired from the accident at another repair shop (taken there due to insurance), we were told that unrelated to his accident, we would need to replace the cadilitic converter for $800.00. We decided not to have this done at that repair shop and immediately called Tim Roberts. Tim had the car for a half hour and then called us to report that the car did not need that repair at all. The fix was $25.00. The trustworthiness and respect that I have for Tim and his family is priceless. Please please please give them a try. You will see for yourself.
