Jersey Mike’s Subs will officially open its doors in Oswego Wedesday.
Owners Raj Patel and Jason Corriveau will celebrate their ties with the area during the grand opening set for Wednesday. To commemorate the event, the restaurant at 2428 Route 34, is hosting a five-day fundraiser from Wed., Jan. 11 through Sun., Jan. 15,with proceeds supporting Oswego East High School and Oswego High School Booster Programs. The store is located in the same shopping strip as Chipotle and Sports Clips.
Anyone who has a fundraising coupon can get a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution. Coupons are being distributed throughout the community and in local newspapers.
“We love to connect with the communities that we’re settling into,” said Patel, “And supporting the Boosters programs in an area with such a strong high school sports following seemed like the perfect partnership.”
The Boosters Programs support the enhancement of the athletic experience of all Oswego High School athletes, their teams, and their fans through the promotion of athletics, school spirit, successful student-athletes, and community awareness of their athletic & academic achievements.
All franchise owners find ways to support their neighbors and employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents as well.
“At Jersey Mike’s we believe you have to participate in your community to be a success,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO. “Raj Patel and Jason Corriveau are enthusiastic about being effective business leaders and we congratulate them on opening their second Jersey Mike’s location.
“Oswego is a rapidly growing suburb with boundless opportunity," Corriveau said. "Our interaction with our first location, Bolingbrook, has resulted in a unique relationship with the Bolingbrook High School that has allowed us to continue our contributions and fundraising. We look forward establishing this sort of relationship with the community of Oswego.”
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. You can contact this store directly at 630-554-2993.

This is a great addition to the local economy and village. JM has terrific, fresh, delicious sandwiches, and you are always greeted upon arrival by a friendly employee. I look forward to spending many dollars in the years ahead at Jersey Mike's. I wish the owners nothing but the best! Mike V, Oswego

My family and I are thrilled that a sandwich place as good as Jersey Mikes is coming to Oswego! I often go to the one on Eola Road on my way home from work. It a healthier choice for the entire family. The people on Eola Road are very friendly and the food is fresh. The Oswego location is closer and one I am sure I will frequent more often. Good luck with everything, looking forward to it!!!
