I'd say Lowes abruptly closing was at least worth a mention.....

Actually, I believe it closed around October 2011, so that's probably why is wasn't mentioned.

Good to hear. I plan to go this weekend and give it a try. Unfortunately, that's been a cursed location. About 3-4 restaurants have bitten the dust there in the past 5 years or so with some long periods of no occupancy. I commend the new owners for giving it a try and wish them luck!

Flappy's had great food and large portion sizes. The service was great when it first opened, but it was pretty bad when I went there about a month ago.
The location is bad because there is not many other businesses in that area, plus it is difficult to know if the restuarant is even there when you are driving down Orchard

I have really become a fan of My Sisters L'il Donut Shoppe this year. Great stuff. And Roberts Auto has found a new customer as well, thanks to the Patch "Best of Oswego" Articles.
And no, I don't think the Misfit Brewery will ever open in Oswego.

Yes My Sister's is a godsend ! I go at least once a week, and would go more often if my wife would let me. You can keep your oatmeal at PANERA & McDONALDS, that's for babys.... Donuts and Coffee, that's for big boys and girls.
