253 seat belt tickets?! Wow oswego police are hard at work catching real criminals! I feel so much safer now that people are wearing their seatbelts but the thefts that have occurred in my neighborhood are still unsolved.

I really shock that there is 253 people like they are Superman-woman. And kudos for only finding only 1 DUI out out this time frame.

OK the seat belt tickets are a revenue generator, but look at all the good come from those stops, warrants, no insurance, DUI, child restraint.... I think no matter what it's a good thing.. Steet cops are so post to do street level work, while the detectives should be looking into all the burglaries. And it cost taxpayers nothing , OPD had a grant for the extra work.

"It costs taxpayers nothing?" Really? Where exactly do you think the government agency (IDOT) gets money to give away as grants? Ultimately, we are paying. lol

Was this a result of Dwight Baird needing more funds for his pension since Mayor Brian said he couldn't do it through 2 new Red Light Cameras?
