Patrons avoid the raindrops for night of performance, wine, friendship.

Arranmore Farm was the ideal setting for Arranmore Center for the Arts' Cabernet Cabaret fundraiser Saturday night.

A few sprinkles just as the evening began did not stop about 300 people from enjoying a night of eclectic musical performances and wine provided by Coopers Hawk Winery for the Ravinia-style event.

ACA is the vision of founder Shannon Greene Robb, who hopes one day to bring a regional arts campus and entertainment venue to Oswego near Arranmore Farm on Rance Road.

In April, ACA presented  displaying an educational component of ACA’s vision. InspireED paired Oswego students with artistic professionals and then showcased the results. Cabernet Cabaret introduces people to one aspect of the performance side of ACA’s vision, Greene-Robb said.

ACA will host a “last hurrah” family carnival the weekend of Aug. 18 at  south entrance.
