Reyna Martinez Found Safe by Plainfield Police
The 13-year-old Plank Junior High Student had been missing since Sunday.
Reyna Martinez, a 13-year-old Boulder Hill girl, has been found, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
Reyna was reported missing on Sunday morning and had last been seen at her home in the 0-100 block of Long Beach Road.
Reyna was found by the Plainfield Police Department and reunited with her family, said the Kendall County Sheriff's office in a press release Friday morning.
According to a family member, the Plank Junior High student had deleted all of her family from her Facebook account. She has friends in Oswego, Montgomery and Plainfield, the family member said.
Friends and family left messages for Reyna on various Patch articles and Facebook posts.
“Reyna if you see this please come home. We are all worried about you. I’m your best friend I don’t want anything to happen to you. Please Reyna come home.”
“Reyna this is your mom. I love you and need you home. I need to know you are ok. We can work out whatever is wrong and you’re not in trouble. Please, please Reyna.”
“Pleaasee return home. You have a lot of people worried sick about you.”
