October 2 is no longer just October 2 in Oswego.
It's Joe Berenyi Day.
Village President Brian LeClercq made the announcement at last Tuesday night's board meeting, where he presented the Berenyi family with a DVD of the London Paralympic coverage, certificate and photo.
Berenyi won a gold, silver and bronze medal in the 2012 Paralympics in London in three different cycling events.
