The junior high boys wrestling quad was held Dec. 7 with Thompson coming away with the overall win. Traughber took second, and Plank took third. Best of all, though, was the fact that the meet raised $331 that was used to purchase toys at Target for Toys for Tots. In all, about 200 toys were purchased with Target donating a $25 gift card to the effort and 5 percent off the entire sale. Plank wrestlers (from left) Nik Wadsworth, Jake Russo, Cody Santelli and Andrew Colwell accompanied coach Josh Edwards to buy the toys.
