If you were a sox fan you'd understand. Why not something that makes fun of the 27 games out of first cubs?!?

My granfather was a sox fan (Yorkville class of '39) and he never understood a crazy word that goof-ball said. He always wished a "can of corn" would fall on his head to knock him out so he would not have to listen to his idiocy. You want to see how dumb that guy is, just look at his record as GM.

That's because the Cubs are already a joke.

Harrelson is the worst sports announcer in MLB. He's a pantie snort!

He isn't even just the worst announcer according to Cubs fans. Two years ago, two different writers, one from Bleacher Report, one from GQ, named him the worst announcer in baseball. Although I must admit, I love how this year, every time a team wins a game against the Sox on a walk off Home Run, Hawk goes dead silent. True professional. Not a word. Just dead air. It's wonderful.

Also, the dog could have said "I wish i'd been adopted by Steve Stone."

Hawk is awesome in my book! Yes, I am a die-hard Sox fan. But, I appreciate Hawk's passion for the Sox, the game of baseball, and the fan experience. I'd much rather listen to him and any other announcer that has played the game at the MLB level, loves and roots for the team they are announcing for (Harry Carey, Jack Brickhouse, Bob Eucker, etc) than the mundane, near-comatose personalities of most network baseball announcers (Joe Buck is terrible).

At least Hawk isn't trying to say "Do you know what Duck Snort spelled backwards is?"

I LOVE when baby bear fans get all riled up about Hawk, when they put Harry on a pedestal (literally) and started to fill up the park once they promoted "fun in the sun" and not the product on the field.
