More and more stories appear of theft in our area, not good. If the rise in theft, not just here but everywhere, is not a desperate cry for "we are hurting" financially ... than I don't know what it is. Shame on our government!!!! They have disregard, regardless, but come on ...... times are tough, they're making it tougher, and they wonder why crime happens. Truly sad!

Commuting from Chicago to Oswego to steal? Do they hope that Oswego retailers and police are sleeping on the job? These crooks got a wake up call! Makes me wonder - are Chicago criminals expanding their operations regularly to our area believing it is 'soft', or was this a random act?

Crooks are crooks. I'm sure they are not stealing food so they can feed their families.
