Suspects Caught in Huge Guitar Heist: Police
Seven guitars and numerous electronics were stolen in residential burglary incident that happened on March 26, 2012.
Two men have been charged with residential burglary after almost a year-long investigation, said Oswego police.
A residential burglary occurred on March 26, 2012 at a home in the 400 block of Terrace Lane, Oswego.
During the investigation, seven guitars were found stolen as well as numerous other electronics totaling $19,000, said police.
With the North Aurora Police Department, Oswego police were able to locate four subjects in possession of six of the stolen guitars and many of the electronics.
All four subjects were charged with possession of stolen property by the North Aurora Police department.
Trace Drolema, 20 of the 800 block of Trask, Aurora and Ulysses E. Reyes, 23, of the 500 block of East New York Street, Aurora, were further charged with residential burglary in Kendall County after an additional investigation.
Oswego police are still actively working on the case through forensics.
A Kendall County judge set Bond for $100,000.
