Shop Local: Floral Expressions and Gifts

It was a blustery morning, more so than my last blog outing, when I decided to visit Main Street to check out Floral Expressions & Gifts located at 67 Main St, Oswego, IL 60543 (630-551-4438) in search of a gift for my father’s upcoming birthday.

The one thing most people don’t realize about Floral Expressions is that they are essentially three shops in one. The flower shop; where they offer a large amount of fresh flowers and helium balloons, the gift shop; where you will find unique gift ideas and gourmet goodies to make your own premium gift baskets and the wedding boutique, where they offer personalized wedding consultations to help you design your dream wedding.

Floral Expressions & Gifts provide flower and gift delivery to Oswego and the surrounding area. Their team of experienced designers can create any floral arrangement that you may desire and they welcome requests for special and unique orders. Whether it's for the birth of a new baby, an expression of sympathy or sorrow, a corporate gift, a romantic occasion, or just to show that you care, their designers will create a floral arrangement that is sure to express your true feelings at competitive prices.

This month marks the ten year anniversary and as a thank you for the community’s continued support they are offering a free bouquet of flowers between November 1st and 19th (*while supplies last with a limited amount per day). They also invite you to join them on November 11th and 12th to “Capture the Magic on Main” for their annual Open House in conjunction with the Marmalade Tree. Stop in and receive your free gift with any purchase! While in the store be sure to check out their great selection of the fun, American made, Stephanie Dawn handbags and their display of fun holiday outfits for babies as well. I know I will be back to check it out but until then I decided on a delicious looking bag of gourmet chocolate covered pretzels for my dad. I just hope the pretzels actually make it to his birthday!

Yum! I know some chocolate covered pretzel fans who would love a bag as a package topper! Sounds like a little of everything!

Abundance of talent from these gals. I have ordered arrangements and they simply do a great job. My daughter also enjoys her to go coffee container that they decorated for her. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

The Wreaths of Remembrance they made for our 9/11 Empty Shoe Memorial were absolutely gorgeous! They far exceeded my expectations and certainly added something patriotic and special to the entrances of the shoe memorial and the Walk of Honor. Thanks girls! great job! They are a great asset to the downtown and always friendly and ready to help.
