Description: All new lessons! This session will explore the history of art from the earliest cave paintings to modern abstract art movements. Students will create works of art in the style of various artists while using a wide variety of art materials. Projects can include Native American petroglyphs; Tiffany style “faux” stained glass; Roman mosaics; illuminated manuscripts and Impressionist paintings to name just a few. Our final class features an art show/reception of all student works for family and friends.

The Fox River Academy of Music & Art is a unique Oswego business. It teaches classes in fine arts and music. Its vocal programs are especially popular. Since 2003, Fox River Academy has encouraged music and art appreciation through experience in private and group study, performance participation in community events, art exhibits and workshops, and free local concert attendance. Students from preschool through senior age are welcome; programs are available for beginners to advanced levels of study.
