Check out some local organizations collecting candy.

Still feeling the post-Halloween sugar overload?

Do something good with all that extra candy and consider donating it to a few local causes:

Stonehill Dental is collecting candy for the troops from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. Kids can receive $1 per pound of candy (up to 5lbs). Check out all the details here

Cub Scout Pack 363 is collecting candy to donate to the troops. They're collecting at multiple locations in the area until Nov. 8. You can drop off your candy to the following spots:

  • Oswego Fire Department, on 3511 Woolley Road
  • The Village Grind, at 19 Main St in Oswego
  • Back on the Rack, at 24038 W Lockport St in Plainfield
