Movie and a Concert in the Park Wednedsay

The movie begins at dusk and the concert at 7 p.m.

How's Wednesday sound for a family night?

You're in luck. You've got two options to enjoy the evening in Oswego.

First is the free Movie in the Park that begins at dusk (about 7:30 p.m.) at the Village Green Park (behind the Post Office). This week's movie is Universal's "The Lorax."

According to IMDb, "The Lorax" is rated PG and runs for 83 minutes.

IMDb describes the film as, "A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world."

Don't forget to bring your lawn chair, blankets, and snacks to enjoy!

Not in the mood for a movie? No problem. You can check out the free concert in the park at Hudson Crossing Park.

The White Saddle Band begins playing at 7 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m.
