Very Cold Winds Expected Sunday into Monday

Temperatures could drop below zero.

Jack Frost is going to be biting at your nose later this evening, if the weather advisory from the National Weather Service is right.

The NWS has Kendall County under a wind chill advisory from 9 p.m. Sunday evening until 12 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30.

Wind chills values could fall to 20 - 30 degrees below zero and temperatures could trop to 0 - 10 below.

The NWS says that  wind chill advisory means that the wind will combine with the
very cold air to generate low wind chills.

"This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors...make sure you wear a hat and gloves," cautioned the NWS.
