99 Days of Summer Fun With the Kids

Filling those long summer days made easy with a list.

While waiting for my doctor’s appointment the other day, I read that there are 99 days between Memorial Day and Labor Day.  99 days of summer fun for our family of six to enjoy.

99 days of four kids who want to go four different places at the same time.  99 days of “Can we get ice cream from the ice cream truck?”.  99 days of sunblock, bug spray, calamine lotion, and very dirty feet.  99 days of “there’s nothing to do” or “nobody’s home” or “why can’t we go to the pool yet?” (at 7am).

Panic started to set in.  Then, I realized that come Labor Day, I will be wishing we had done more together and gone here or done that.  So, the kids and I made a list of 50 (I bet you thought it was going to be 99) things we are going to do this summer.  What are you and your family going to do?
