Edward-Elmhurst names Goodson Director of Community, Government Relations

Lee Ann Goodson has been named Director of Community & Government Relations for Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare, effective April 9.  Goodson will focus her efforts on Edward’s service area, including Naperville, Plainfield, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Lisle, Oswego, Romeoville, Warrenville, Woodridge, Yorkville and surrounding areas.

Goodson, a resident of Plainfield with two children, replaces Sandy Benson who is retiring April 11 after nearly 25 years at the health system.  Benson plans to continue as an active Rotarian and President of the Naperville Library Board of Trustees, and maintain her involvement in numerous other community volunteer activities.

Goodson will work closely with Diane McGinnis, who oversees Community and Government Relations in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital’s service area, to monitor and lobby for community-focused and legislative issues important to Edward-Elmhurst.  Goodson and McGinnis report to Brian Davis, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Edward-Elmhurst.
