Fox Valley Orchestra presents “American Rhapsody”

The Fox Valley Orchestra opens its fourth season with a rousing program entitled “American Rhapsody.”  The program includes Dvorak’s New World Symphony and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.  Rounding out this concert is Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue featuring pianist Jon Warfel.  

Under the direction of Dr. Colin Holman, the orchestra performs two concerts, Saturday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Norris Cultural Arts Center, 1040 Dunham Road, St. Charles, and Sunday, September 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Crimi Auditorium at Aurora University, 407 S.  Calumet, Aurora.  Advanced tickets are $12 or $10 for students and seniors; at the door the tickets are $13 or $11 for students and seniors.  Subscription tickets for the full season (6 concerts) are $55.  Tickets can be purchased online at foxvalleyorchestra.org or by calling 630-891-2526.
