Joliet Dirt Devils Softball Tryouts

If you are looking for an organization for your daughter to play competitive softball and to better develop her skills the Dirt Devils is for your daughter.
We will have winter workouts and clinics for all our teams and coaches. 

August 3rd & 4th 
12u =10am - 12pm
13u =12pm - 2pm
14u =2pm - 4 pm

August 5th & 6th
15u/16u = 5:30pm - 8pm

August 7th & 8th
18u = 5:30pm - 8pm

Location: Joliet Junior College, 1215 Houbolt Rd, Joliet, IL. 60431

Please come 30 minutes before your tryout time to fill out paper work and for your daughter to stretch and warm-up. Please bring your own glove, helmet, and bat, if you have one. You may also print out the forms below and bring them to tryouts.

16u and 18u will be going to Top College Exposure Tournaments.

The Dirt Devils have contracted GenuWIN Sports Training to provide winter training services for the entire organization.  All teams and coaches will work with GST instructors at every practice.  This training will include: 

Total Player Development - Speed & Agility, Strength & Conditioning, Throwing, Fielding, Hitting/Bunting, Base Running & Sliding, Positional Play, and Mental Toughness. 

Coaching - Enhancing coaching skills, Advanced offense & defensive drills, How to setup bunt coverage, How to defend the slap, How to run effective practices

GST Philosophy

Our philosophy is to teach great fundamentals of the game in a positive and encouraging manner.  Along with teaching kids that discipline and commitment are essential for success in the game of softball, we hope they will want to play for the love of the game.  Our ultimate goal is to build strong, independent young ladies.
