Meals on Wheels Drivers Needed in Oswego, Montgomery and Boulder Hill Areas

Meals on Wheels is in critical need of meal delivery drivers in the Oswego, Montgomery and Boulder Hill areas.  Help is needed once a week, or once a month-whatever fits your schedule.  This is an easy and fulfilling opportunity for husband/wife teams, friends, or anyone age 18+ who wants to give back to the community.  Using your own car, you will be delivering meals to the areas disabled or fragile seniors.  Most routes can be delivered in less than an hour.  Meal delivery totes are picked up at Oswego Church of the Good Shepherd and once the meals are delivered, the delivery totes are dropped off at the same location.

Volunteers age 55+ are also eligible to join RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) and receive benefits including volunteer insurance and in some circumstances reimbursement for expenses.  If you are interested in volunteering with Meals on Wheels or want to hear about different volunteer opportunities or need more information contact Kathy Bjerrum at 630-553-5777 or e mail her a kbjerrum@seniorservicesassoc.org.
