Rover Rescue Dog of the Week

‘Ello Chap!   My name is KENTON.  Did you know that I share my name with an area in London?? That’s right, I am English!  But I didn’t have to cross the Atlantic to get to Rover Rescue.  I just had to make my way around Lake Michigan.  Aye, I came from a high kill shelter in Southern Indiana.  Grab a spot of tea while I tell you about myself.   I am a 1 to 2 year old Foxhound mix that has a very soft and handsome coat of white, brown and black.   I am a bloke weighing in at 45 pounds.   I have a jolly disposition that gets me lots of love and affection!   I can be shy at times because in my past, I was not always treated with the love and respect that I deserved.   I realize that I am living a posh life now and enjoying every minute of it!  I know that people can be cheeky, but I get along with them, even the wee ones.    I carry on well with other dogs and love to play with the canine mate at my foster home.  We play allllllll day long!  My foster mum was gob- smacked when she realized that I was house trained.  I don’t use the loo, but I know to do my business outside.  As a reward, I get to sleep in her bed at night.  I reckon I should tell you how brilliant I am.  I have learned to play fetch, how to give paw and discovered that I love biscuits.   I do have a crate, but it is used only when no one is home.  I have been known to chew on things that were not mine when left alone, but it wasn’t my fault. They were just too bloody tempting.  If you think you can fancy a good boy like me, please call Teri at 630-897-7454.  We could spend the evenings watching the BBC while drinking a pint and eating fish and chips.  Cheerio for now.  My adoption fee is a daft $200.
