Yorkville Christian High School Announces Temporary Location as Construction Continues

In spite of construction delays that have extended the completion date of their new facility at the 
corner of Ashley Road & Route 126 in the City of Yorkville, Yorkville Christian High School will open 
its doors to students in grades 9-12 on September 2, 2014. The school will locate temporarily at 
CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH & SCHOOL, approximately 3 miles from the YCHS property.
The YCHS team is extremely grateful to Cross Lutheran Church and School’s leadership team & 
staff in their willingness to assist in launching a high school ministry created to educate youth in an 
energizing environment that encourages teens to impact the world.
On Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 7:00 PM, Yorkville Christian High School will be hosting an 
informational meeting & registration for families at Cross Lutheran Church & School’s Fellowship 
Hall at 8535 Route 47, Yorkville, IL.
At this time, families will have the opportunity to meet the leadership team, ask questions, register 
their student and learn about the school’s academic programs, athletic offerings, and other extra 
curricular activities. Yorkville Christian High School opens for grades 9-12 on September 2, 2014.
