Ale Fest Comes to Oswego June 28

Event combines vaudeville, craft beers, food.

American craft beer and American vaudeville entertainment will come together as the Arranmore Ale Fest this month in Oswego.

 ArranmoreArts will host the fest from 4 to 8 pm. Saturday, June 28, on the grounds of Arranmore Farm and Polo Club, 34 Rance Road in Oswego.

The fest will showcase more than 80 unique craft beers from 40 different brewers, food from some of Chicago’s favorite food trucks and old-time vaudeville inspired circus acts. Admission to this event is limited to guests 21 and older.

"I am the most excited about the Arranmore Ale Fest because the entertainment,” organizer Josh Seago of Lou Dog Events said. "The vaudeville-inspired acts are going to create a true beer circus. Craft beer festivals are all about the experience and this one will not disappoint."

A portion of the proceeds will benefit ArranmoreArts, a not for profit organization that serves as a conduit for innovative and memorable arts experiences in Chicago’s western suburbs.  

"The offbeat nature of this event appeals to us. We are so grateful to Lou Dog Events for selecting us as their beneficiary,” said Shannon Greene Robb, executive director of ArranmoreArts.  “It should be a fun event with unexpected surprises and some great craft beer."

General admission tickets to the fest are $40 per person and include entrance, commemorative glass, program guide and drink tickets to sample up to fifteen  3 oz-samples of beer.  

Additional tickets up to ten are .50 each. VIP tickets at $70 also include access to an exclusive VIP area with private sampling from 3 to 4 p.m. VIP food voucher, along with all general admission benefits.  

Designated drivers may purchase VIP or general admission access, which includes soda and water as beverages. Designated drivers will not be allowed to sample beer.
