First Market on Main Street Successful Despite Rain

The first Market on Main was this past Friday.

Rainy weather almost got the best of the first Market on Main Street in downtown Oswego on Friday. Luckily, the rain quickly moved out of the area and sunny skies prevailed for the latter part of the evening.

Though some of the vendors canceled due to the weather, many vendors stuck it out.  After the rain cleared away, the market was well-attended by local shoppers.

Market on Main Street features many local vendors, artists, food, and music and is free for the public to attend. Many of the vendors sell antique and refurbished/repurposed items.

The market takes place on Main Street between Washington and Jackson Streets. The remaining markets will be on July 26th, August 30th, and September 27th from 4-8 p.m.
