Families invited to stop by April 12, 13.

Get ready for your Easter celebration by making a special paper Easter bonnet and creating other holiday-themed decorations bound to add color to any celebration on Saturday and Sunday, April 12 and 13 at Oswego's Little White School Museum, 72 Polk St.

From 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. both days, visitors of all ages can enjoy the opportunity to make their own handmade Easter decorations and fashions to take home to enjoy.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required, although groups are urged to call ahead to make sure the museum has sufficient materials on hand.

And while visiting the museum, guests are urged to stop by the seasonal “Easter Bonnets on Parade” exhibition featuring men’s and women’s fashionable hats from the 19th and 20th Centuries. Dozens of colorful examples from two centuries of headgear have been added to exhibits throughout the museum. “Easter Bonnets on Parade” is available to all museum visitors now through the end of April.
