Fundraiser Set for Churchill First-Grader Fighting Lymphoma

Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser will take place Oct. 30.

An Oswego first grader is fighting Stage 3 Lymphoma and on Tuesday, Oct. 30, Oswego residents can join in the battle.

Morgan Robbins, a first-grader at Churchill Elementary, was diagnosed shortly after school started in August, said Mary Ann Rausa, whose daughter Emi attends class with Robbins.

Rausa said that Robbins, who lives alone with her dad, has undergone multiple rounds of chemo and Mr. Robbins has not been able to work since the diagnosis.

The Oswego community is rallying together at Buffalo Wild Wings, 1550 Douglas Road, on Oct. 30 to support the Robbins family with a Halloween-themed event. Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10 percent of all sales (eat in or take out) and between 4 and 8 p.m. there will be a coloring contest for kids, games and prizes and a raffle.

Donations can also be made by visiting any local Fifth Third Bank and depositing funds into the “Cancer Fighting Fund for Morgan.”
