Oswego Announces Lineup for Free 'Movies in the Park' Series

All movies start at dusk. This year, movie-goers can purchase Chick-Fil-A and Kona Ice.

Grab some lawn chairs and some popcorn: It's almost time for Movies in the Park.

Hosted by the Village of Oswego’s Cultural Arts Commission, Movies in the Park take place on Wednesdays in June, July and August. 

All movies take place at the Oswego Village Hall Plaza, 100 Parkers Mill, and begin at dusk.

Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, blankets and movie watching snacks. This year, Chick-Fil-A and Kona Ice will be available at each movie.

  • June 4 - “Frozen” Sing-A-Long, Rated PG, 108 minutes, 2013
  • June 18 – “Up”, Rated PG, 96 minutes, 2009
  • July 16 – “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2”, Rated PG, 94 minutes, 2013
  • Aug. 6 – “Despicable Me 2”, Rated PG, 98 minutes, 2013

Rain dates are Wednesday, June 25 and Wednesday, July 23.

In case of inclement weather, check the Village of Oswego website at www.oswegoil.org. Cancellations will be posted by 4 p.m. the afternoon of the scheduled showing. Rain dates are scheduled for the 4th Wednesday of each month, if necessary. All movies are free and open to the public. For more information or to sponsor a movie, please call 630-554-3618.
