Oswego Police Host Junior Police Camp

Free program open to all District 308 junior high students.

The Oswego Police Department will host two sessions of the Junior Police Academy. The first session is from June 23-27, while a second session will be offered from July 28-Aug. 1.

Both sessions are from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and are offered free of charge to all current Oswego School District 308 junior high students.

Junior cadets will learn about conducting traffic stops, crime scene investigation, building searches and more.

Space is limited, so applicants are due by May 30.

Applications are available in the lobby of the Oswego Law Enforcement Center, 3525 Route 34, or online at www.oswegopoliceil.org.
