PrairieFest Winds Down with Windy Conditions

Four-day fest ended Sunday.

Wind and threatening skies shut down some of the festivities on PrairieFest's last day, closing out the four days of fun.

"The wind is trying move our festival," fest organizers posted on Facebook. "We've had to cancel today's entertainment and the bed races. But the carnival, petting zoo, pony rides, and food vendors are up and running."

But despite the slight damper from Mother Nature, this year's fest was jam packed with activities, from the bucket brigade to wine tastings, pony rides, a pet adoption event, a carnival, a quilt show and live music from Night Ranger, Rusted Root, Luke Underhill and more.

What was your favorite part of the fest?
