Quilt Club Makes Donation to Oswego Museum

The Quilters Dozen Quilting Club of Oswego has donated $500 to the Little White School Museum for use in preserving and protecting the museum’s collections. Quilting club treasurer Sue Matile presented the check to Little White School Museum Assistant Director Bob Stekl on July 3 at the museum.

The money was raised through the club’s annual PrairieFest Quilt Raffle. The Quilters Dozen meets each Thursday at the museum, which is located at 72 Polk Street (Polk at Jackson) in Oswego. Regular museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

For more information, call the museum at 630-554-2999, send an email to info@littlewhiteschoolmuseum.org, or visit the museum’s web site at www.littlewhiteschoolmuseum.org.
