Thousands Without Power in Naperville Area

Naperville as being hit with scattered power outages, according to ComEd.

The largest outage appears to be south of E. New York Street, west of Commons Drive near N. Frontenac Road. That outage is impacting more than 1,000 ComEd customers.

Other outages are being reported near N. Commons Drive and McCoy Drive and south of E. New York Street, east of N. Commons Drive. Those outages are affecting 681 and 712 ComEd customers respectively.

An outage near Castle Rock Circle is affecting 1,182 customers and another on Montgomery Road is affecting 1,620 customers. Visit ComEd's outage map for more details.

Warming Centers
During normal business hours, Monday through Friday, residents can seek shelter from winter weather elements at the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St. Beginning Monday, Jan. 6, the Naperville Park District will offer two warming centers at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, 305 W. Jackson Ave., from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the 95th Street Center, 2244 W. 95th St., from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
