Whiz Kid: Being a Top-Ranked Student Not Enough for This Standout Gymnast

Name: Matthew Schaschwary
School: Seventh-grader at Thompson Junior High.
Accomplishments: Matthew earns straight A's, was just accepted into the National Junior Honor Society and recently won four gold medals and two silver medals in the Illinois Level 5 State Gymnastics Championship. He also won the Gold Medal for Best All Around Gymnast. He placed first or second in every event and led Team Oswego to the First Place Team Award.
