Cayla's accomplishment Cayla Werling is a very caring, compassionate fifth grade girl at Churchill Elementary School.  She's the kind of girl who would do anything for anyone. When she has a spare moment, she likes to volunteer, and takes many opportunities to do so.  She recently volunteered with Churchill Elementary and her family at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora.  She has also volunteered with the fifth grade at the Kendall County Animal Shelter to care for and walk the shelter dogs.

In addition, Cayla and her family often take time to go through her family's items to see what kind of things they could donate to Amvets, and she helps her mom get the items ready to go.

When Cayla has a free second at school, she and her friend, Hannah, often give up their lunch recess time to help out first-grade and second-grade teachers in their classrooms with anything extra that they might need around the room.

Just when you think Cayla doesn't have a free second in her life, she even has time to be involved in the Character Counts! Club at Churchill Elementary School!  In this club, Cayla helps organize the skits for the school assemblies, make posters for the school, and she even helped make posters for donation boxes for soldiers overseas.

What makes Cayla so awesome She loves helping, and she says that her parents help her in anything that she wants to do to help others.  She is outstanding in everything she puts her mind to!
