Allied First Bank Hosting Annual Elementary Art Show

The public is invited to stop in and vote during lobby hours prior to the awards ceremony on Nov. 14.

Allied First Bank of Oswego is hosting their annual art show for local elementary aged students.  

The show began November 5 and continues through November 14. There is an awards ceremony on November 14 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  

Village of Oswego Chief of Police, Dwight Baird, will emcee the awards ceremony.

During lobby hours, the public may vote for their favorite work of art.  The winner wins a “People’s Choice” award and prize.  There are three additional categories of work that could win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place: Painting, Drawing, and Mixed Media.

The following Oswego elementary schools participated in the show: East View Kindergarten Center, Grande Park, Homestead, Lakewood Creek, Old Post, Southbury.  Fox River Academy of Music & Art also participated.

Be sure to visit Allied First Bank, 3201 Orchard Rd, Oswego, IL 60543 to cast vote or on the 14th for the awards ceremony.  

Lobby hours are 8:30-5:00pm Monday through Thursday, 8:30-6:00pm Friday, and 8:00-12:00pm Saturday.  

On December 4th, Jr. High students will showcase their work at the Allied Bank art show.
