Help the members of the Oswegoland Heritage Association and friends of the Little White School Museum celebrate the conservation and restoration of the historic Oswego Prairie Church Sonntagschule flag during this community open house.
The flag, designed in the "Great Star" pattern of the early the 19th Century, is believed to have been flown in July 1873 by the lead wagon of a group from the German-speaking Prairie Church community east of Oswego.
The group was on its way to a countywide picnic in Yorkville, held to help organize farmers and laborers against railroad and other monopolies.
