The "Eats" Announced for Oswego's First Beats and Eats Festival

The outdoor music and food event is next Saturday, Aug. 10.

We've been hearing about all the musical groups that are scheduled to perform at the first Oswego Beats and Eats festival but mum has been the word on the food.

Now it's time to roll up your sleeves and dig in.

Oswego businessman and resident Macey Brooks, who is hosting Beats and Eats with the Village of Oswego, said the food line-up includes several gourmet food trucks from Chicago. They are:

In addition to those food trucks, Brooks said there will be other vendors including BBQ, Mediterranean, and other festival food.

Beer, wine and other "Cosmo" type beverages will also be available, said Brooks.

Beats and Eats will have four former Chicago Bears players to guest MC and introduce the bands. They are: Dennis McKinnon (former Super Bowl Champion), Marcus Robinson, James Allen and Robin Earl.
