Chocolate Shop Opening Soon In Yorkville

The Chocolate Shoppe is home of the self-described "world famous chocolate covered bacon."

Talk about a sweet business update!

The Chocolate Shoppe, currently based in Utica, Ill., is moving to Yorkville to open at  a new location.

The shop sells handmade chocolate confections, including their self-described "world famous chocolate covered bacon."

There's plenty of variety for every sweet tooth, including truffles, fudge, chocolate covered fruit, chocolate pasta and more. (Your guess is as good as mine on what chocolate pasta tastes like).

Over 95 percent of their chocolates are listed as gluten-free, and they also offer vegan, dairy and sugar free sweets.

On Feb. 16, The Chocolate Shoppe is closing up shop in Utica (Starved Rock) and will re-open in Yorkville on March 1.

They will be located at 175 East Veterans Parkway and their phone number will be (630) 553-3355.

They will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Visit their Facebook page for updates and delicious looking chocolate to get you ready for their Yorkville opening.
