Oswego Chamber of Commerce Looking for Volunteers; Shred Event Set

The chamber event will take place April 12 and 13.

The Oswego Chamber of Commerce 2013 Business and Consumer Expo will be held April 12 and 13. The chamber is asking for student volunteers on Friday to help people get items their booths. This is an opportunity for community service hours. On Saturday, students are needed again to unload & load cars.

Additionally, adults are needed to help at the registration booth.

  • NM Tripp Insurance Agency, Inc. and The Village Grind will cohost a shred event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 13 in the parking lot between NM Tripp Insurance, 5 Main St., and The Village Grind, 19 Main St.  There is a limit of four boxes per household.
  • Waubonsee Community College Academic & Professional Center is having a workshop - "Entrepreneur You" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 6. Click here for more details.
