When and how did your business get started?

After 31 years in the golf industry, the corporation was started in 2009 after the passing of my mother. SMT Events & Fundraising was created to help people raise more money for their causes.

What is your business best known for?

SMT Events & Fundraising is best known for taking ALL of the pressure off your committee and organization for any of your fundraising needs. We have helped hundreds of events raise millions of dollars.

Our most popular items is certainly our Golf Ball Launcher, where players actually shoot their golf ball out of a big "paint ball gun" almost 400 yards on a Par 4 at a golf course. The closest to the pin from this game is given a Vegas stay at the Tropicana Resort for 2 that we provide.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

As a longtime resident of Oswego and current business owner in Oswego, it simply made sense to stay local.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

That we are not just a golf outing company any longer. We help raise money at any event that you have. Golf outings to wine tastings, Black tie affairs to wrestling matches we can help you make more money and we actually end up doing it at no cost to you.

Does your business offer a special deals card or program?

We do not, but we are always looking to help local or national businesses promote their products and services to the thousands of customers that we see. We do this for you at no cost as well!
