A Sleepy's mattress store is set to move into the old Citibank location, 2450 Route 34, very soon, according to the village.
Village of Oswego Economic Development Director Vijay Gadde said store owners originally hoped to open on Friday, but the village was unable to issue the store's change of occupancy (CO) certificate because the building's fire sprinkler system was not yet connected to a monitor system.
Gadde said the store is currently working with the fire department to address the issue and get the approvals necessary to obtain a final occupancy permit. He said the store should open "hopefully any day."
