What does your business offer? We offer homemade pizza and southern Italian cuisine.

When was your business established? 1979.

How did you choose your name? Our last name is Daniels and my mother's name was Natalie and they called her Nellie. She was the inspiration for the restaurant. There were 8 of us kids, so we used 8 letters and Danelli's was formed.

One of the oldest family run restaurants in town. Fair price , great staff, fabulous food. This is what Oswego was all about 20years ago. If you have not gone , you dont know what your missing.

You arfe not missing much. I have been there a few times. Will not be rushing back. Their pizza is OK. I had a bowl of tomato basil soup once. It was like eating a bowl of pasta sauce. If I want Italian, I'd go to Olive Garden. If I want pizza I'd go to Rosatti's or Giordano's

Way to support a local establishment Logansdad, your next positive comment about anything will be your first.

I gave an honest review. You don't like it, too bad. Oswego is not Pleasantville. I live in reality, not some fairytale land where everything is perfect. Hmm, Olive Garden, Rosatti's and Giordano's are local establishments, so what am I missing.

I love it! One guy pans the place and it's jump on him time...geeze what happened to independent thought? I've found that pizza is a personal experience. I've been to Danelli's but I admit it's been some time. Last time I was there I thought the pizza was very good. I didn't have the soup so I can't speak to that. I felt a little cramped inside but other than that I think I'm long overdue for a visit.

You're missing a bit of self control. Probably better off not saying anything at all. Welcoming someone to this site really isnt an invitation to critique the place. Once again, next positive post by you will be your first

We enjoy our dining experiences at Danelli's! I can say in 21 years we have never had a bad meal or bad service. I can't say the same about some of our local chain restaurants. The staff have always been kind and professional. We may just go this weekend.

LOVE Danelli's . . . used to eat there a lot when I lived across the street! Food is great and the staff is even better. My take on restaurants is even IF the food is just ok but the service is good I will definately go back!! One HUGE plus is it's not a chain and I like the small "homey" feel. My son always talks about when one of the staff (I believe a Daniels family member) told him about the ghost they keep behind the closed door (lol) . . . Cathy D, I'm with you, we may just have to go this weekend too. Kuddos to the Daniels family and here's to many more years in Oswego!!!

Yes, you should say nothing if you don't know what you are talking about. Danelli's has been listed in the Patch's directory of restaurants well before this article. http://oswego.patch.com/listings/danellis-pizzeria-italian-restaurant. People have been giving their opinion of Danelli's on "The Patch" since April 2011 so it is hardly a "Welcome". Maybe you should take your issues up with the editors because their headline is misleading. I guess you have gone to a business that you didn't like?

We love going to Danelli's for a change of pace. Sandwiches like the Godfather are delicious, kids like the ravioli or baked mostacolli. Haven't had anything we didn't like.

"We would like to welcome Danelli's Ristorante to the Patch community! When a local business interacts with Patch by claiming its listing,... " Reading is a skill, just because the Patch has them listed, doesn't mean they have acknowledged that listing, which is the case here. So I'm guessing everytime you don't like something or have a beef about someone or something you jump on them right from the get go? If people gave their opinions on Danelli's during the "contest" for best restaurant, then that's understandable. Basically you are saying "hello, I don't like you". Sometimes you should just say nothing..., but I've read enough to know YOU CAN'T, you enjoy being miserable and like to see others that way. Have a good day.

"just because the Patch has them listed, doesn't mean they have acknowledged that listing, which is the case here" So in other words Danelli's didn't know anything about the Patch. All that is doing is giving the restaurant a free advertisement and a chance to explain what the business offers. They were already listed as a business and people had a chance to comment on their dining experiences long before this article was posted. "So I'm guessing everytime you don't like something or have a beef about someone or something you jump on them right from the get go?" You act as if Danelli's just opened when it hasn't. What's wrong with an honest critique of my dining experience. I suppose you rather hear everything is rosey and fantatsic when it is not. "If people gave their opinions on Danelli's during the "contest" for best restaurant, then that's understandable." Why is one place better than another? Oh because you said so "Sometimes you should just say nothing..., but I've read enough to know YOU CAN'T," Who is the one that keeps following me? It seems like you can't stay away. And somehow it is my fault. Who appointed you as the one that dictates what can and can't be posted in Patch articles. Maybe you should start your own news paper. Your tag line can be "Good and pleasant news. All day, every day"

Feel better now? Follow you? Dont flatter yourself. Your negativity is all over the place Not my fault you put your criticism in the wrong place

Love Danelli's pizza, one of my favorites & I enjoy their lasagne too. Like the cozy feel of the place & that it is family owned and been around for a lot of years. Try it! You'll like it!
