Lori Ann Kies, 48, Passed After a Long Battle Against Cancer
A celebration of life for Lori Kies will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m.
Lori Ann Kies, age 48, of Aurora, IL died Thursday, April 11, 2013, after a year long battle against cancer, at Rush-Copley Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 9, 1964 in Aurora, IL attended Aurora schools and East Aurora High School. She was employed by HQC Industries in Oswego, IL.
She is survived by her daughter Kennedy Kies, parents Ronald W and Sheila L (nee Does) Kies, sister Roni Lynn Velazquez of Aurora, IL, two nephews Nicholas and Joseph Velazquez, partner for 16 years Richard Aaron, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Henry and Golda Does and paternal grandparents Fred and Marjorie Kies. Cremation was accorded the wish of the family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Phoenix Club, 515 Phoenix Ct. Aurora.
