Medallion Hunt Returns to Oswego PrairieFest

Clues will start being released today, May 3 with six in total. The winner receives $250.

Want to go on a treasure hunt?

Oswego doesn't have one of those, but the Medallion Hunt is pretty close.

The event returns after a six-year hiatus for the 25th anniversary of PrairieFest, put on by the Oswegoland Park District from June 13- June 16.

The Medallion hunt starts on Friday, May 3 in which a clue will be released to  lead you to the location of the medallion. Six weekly clues will be released, all requiring different methods - from code cracking, deduction, trivia and more - to solve.

The clues will be released on the PrairieFest Facebook page, the official PrairieFest website, on Twitter at @PFestPrairiedog, at any Oswegoland Park District facilities, and announced on WSPY at 1:25pm.
